We're looking for skilled, self-motivated handymen to handle a variety of residential and commercial repair and installation tasks across DFW.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

General Repairs & Maintenance:

  • Perform minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting work
  • Repair and install doors, windows, light fixtures, appliances, and other home/business components
  • Assemble furniture, install appliances, and conduct small remodeling tasks
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and up to quality standards

Job Collection, Scheduling & Pricing:

  • Respond to customer inquiries and job requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately price jobs based on labor, materials, and job complexity
  • Schedule jobs efficiently to maximize productivity and minimize downtime
  • Provide customers with clear and transparent estimates
  • Adjust estimates based on customer needs, additional services, or unforeseen challenges
  • Communicate with the operations team to schedule, reschedule, or adjust job timelines
  • Ensure jobs are priced in alignment with company pricing guidelines
  • Document pricing breakdowns, customer approvals, and scheduling details

Safety & Compliance:

  • Follow all workplace safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and company policies
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Customer Interaction & Service:

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients regarding job scope, progress, and expectations
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Address customer concerns and escalate issues to management when needed
  • Follow up post-job to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business or referrals

Job Documentation & Reporting:

  • Complete work orders, job checklists, and service reports accurately
  • Document materials used, time spent, and additional costs
  • Ensure all job details are properly recorded for invoicing

Vehicle & Equipment Management:

  • Properly maintain and use company tools, equipment, and vehicles
  • Ensure company take-home vehicles are clean and properly maintained
  • Track inventory of supplies and request replenishment when needed

Qualifications & Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in general handyman work, maintenance, or a skilled trade
  • Experience in residential and/or commercial property maintenance preferred

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general home repair
  • Ability to accurately estimate labor and material costs
  • Experience with job scheduling software or ability to learn company systems
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to sell and upsell services based on customer needs

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, and climb ladders as needed
  • Comfortable working in tight spaces or at heights when necessary

  • Complete assigned jobs efficiently within expected timeframes
  • Maintain a high customer satisfaction rating
  • Ensure pricing accuracy with minimal error rate
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
  • Maintain proper documentation for all jobs and estimates
